Project Manager - Chengdu

Manage project with development team consisting of global and local engineers. Taking full accountability for project planning, organizing, execution, QA and delivery. - Responsible for requirement and error management coordinating with global and local teams. - Drive best practices internally and with our customers while ensuring that Cerence technology is optimally integrated to deliver superior speech recognition performance and end user satisfaction - Coordinate project execution with Cerence R&D team and PS specialists in local and international offices. - Organize and lead the meetings and workshops with customer to introduce Cerence technology and solutions, and help customer understand the collaboration model in the project. - Establish and maintain smooth communication and a solid and productive relationship with the customer through regular reporting, meeting and follow-up Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must - Experience with embedded hardware platforms, operating systems, and software development, preferably related to the automotive electronics/infotainment industry - C / C++ or Java Programming experience preferred - Experience with UI/Speech/Language technology preferred - Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimum supervision - A good track record at estimating budgets and schedules and delivering on them preferred - Ability and willingness to handle period peak demands - Demonstrated leadership talent to provide direction, motivation and insights to the project team members
